"Last week, the British Columbia Court of Appeal released its long-awaited decision in R. v. Desautel, 2019 BCCA 151. The Court of Appeal upheld the decisions of the lower courts that Richard Desautel, a citizen of the
United States, has an Aboriginal right to hunt in the Arrow Lakes region of British Columbia which is protected by section 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982."  (Courtesy, First People's Law)
